Comite De Bien Estar staff attended to more than 180 people who came to the vaccination clinic event on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 9am to 12pm.
During the clinic different services and resources were offered:
- Sunset Health provided cholesterol, BMI test and information programs
- Campesinos Sin Fronteras screened glucose and blood pressure tests.
- We had a Mexican Consulate during the event, and it provided information about their different programs
- PPEP provided information about the assistance they offer for the payment of utilities only for farmworkers and other programs
- Legal Services provided information about its legal representation program for farmworkers and advice on problems with the IRS.
- Medicare Solutions provides information about its programs to benefit seniors
- The Fire Department ensured the safety of those who attended the health fair.
- The staff of Comite De Bien Estar in addition to organizing the event, also participated with stand information about their programs and services
- The Health Department participated with its programs to prevent chronic diseases and high-risk pregnancies
- During the event all attendees enjoyed delicious ice popsicles
The next vaccination clinic will be held on September 5, 2024 from 9am-12pm
