Staff from Comite De Bien Estar in collaboration with the Yuma County Health Department through the Esperanza Para Todos/Hope For All Program of the UnidosUS National Organization held the Health Fair #55

Vaccines= Updated COVID 19 adult and children, Flu, Hepatitis A, and Generals vaccines for children.

Comite De Bien Estar staff attended to more than 200 people who came to the health fair event on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 9am to 12pm.

During the clinic different services and resources were offered:

• Sunset Health provided cholesterol, BMI test and information programs
• Campesinos Sin Fronteras screened glucose and blood pressure tests.
• We had a Consulate during the event.
• PPEP provided information about the assistance they offer for the payment of utilities only for farmworkers and other program.
• Medicare Solutions provides information about its programs to benefit seniors
• The Health Department offered HIV test
• The Fire Department ensured the safety of those who attended the health fair
• Chicanos Por La Causa provides information about immigration processes
• Hope Incorporated participated for the first time in health fairs. It provided information about prevention programs and treatments for alcohol, opioid and tobacco addictions
• Community Medical Services participated for the first time in the health fairs and provided information about their programs and services
• Arizona Work is another of the agencies that participated for the first time in the health fair and provided information about its services
• The staff of Comite De Bien Estar in addition to organizing the event, also participated with stand information about their programs and services
