The vaccination clinic was held in June. The clinics are conducted by the staff of the Comite de Bien Estar in collaboration with the Yuma County Health Department through the Esperanza Para Todos/Hope For All Program of the National Organization UnidosUS.

Applied vaccines = Moderna, Pfizer, Hepatitis A and Tdap (Tetanus)

Approximately more than 200 people attended the Health and Information Fair satisfactorily. In these clinics, first, second doses, booster and second booster were applied to all people. This booster is being applied to people 4 months after the first booster was applied. Also during the clinics, vaccines against COVID 19 were applied for the first time for children from 6 months to 4 years of age with the approval of the parents.

People from the neighboring country of Mexico were also attended the clinic. Which came with different vaccines and Moderna or Pfizer were applied. The event continued with the approval of the combination of vaccines against COVID 19. All this in accordance with the specialists and health authorities. Other of the vaccines applied, was the Hepatitis A and Tetanus vaccine.
During the vaccination clinic, the Mexican Consulate in Yuma held a Documentation Day, carrying out procedures such as a Mexican Passport, Voter’s Credential and Registration. This was possible due to the collaboration and support that exists between organizations.
The Peasants Without Borders Organization participated in the event by testing the attendees for glucose and blood pressure.
The Fire Department also participated in the event to observe the safety and secondary reactions of all the people who received the vaccine against COVID 19.
The next vaccination clinic will be on Thursday July 7, 2022
9am-12pm at our offices located at 963 E. B Street in San Luis, AZ.
